Chain Link Fencing in Denver
Durable, Low-Maintenance Boundaries for Denver Properties
Chain link fencing provides strength, safety, and low-maintenance coverage for properties that need a defined, visible boundary. At Stand Strong Fencing of Boulder, we install it for Denver homes and commercial properties, tailoring each project to the site’s layout and the owner’s goals.
We also offer wood, vinyl, and aluminum fencing, allowing property owners to select a material suited to their plans. For larger areas, pet runs, and facilities where visibility matters, an open metal fence is often a practical, cost-effective choice.

Residential & Commercial Chain Link Options
For homes, this fencing can contain pets, separate areas of a yard, and establish a boundary without blocking the view. We can customize the height and gate placement around the property’s layout and intended use.
For commercial properties, we install security fencing around warehouses, storage facilities, and commercial lots where broad coverage matters more than visual screening. The open design maintains visibility while creating a clear perimeter around the secured area.
Available customization options include:
- Customizable heights: We select fence height according to the property’s use and applicable zoning requirements.
- Finish options: A black poly coating provides an alternative to the traditional metallic appearance.
- Added screening: privacy slats limit visibility through the fence while retaining its underlying layout.
What Shapes Your Project Cost
Fence dimensions, gate needs, and site conditions determine material requirements and the work involved in installation. An assessment gives us the information needed to calculate pricing accurately.
During the consultation, we evaluate the property and prepare a detailed, technology-assisted estimate. This allows us to account for the layout and project requirements before providing a free quote. An assessment is particularly important for large-area containment and commercial security fencing, where access points and gate needs can shape the project.
From Consultation to Final Walkthrough
We coordinate each stage around the property’s layout, intended use, and practical access needs.
The installation process includes:
- Consultation & Estimate: We discuss the fence area, layout, height, gates, finish options, and screening needs. We then prepare a detailed, technology-assisted estimate for the proposed work.
- Site Preparation: Before installation, we schedule the project and prepare around property access, pets, parking, or ongoing business operations.
- Installation & Walkthrough: Our professional installation team completes the work and conducts a final walkthrough with the property owner.
Every fence we install is backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty.

Denver Fence Permits & Height Limits
Denver generally limits fences outside industrial areas to 4 feet in front yards and 6 feet in backyards. A zoning permit is generally required for a fence over 4 feet tall, so its planned location and height need to be considered before installation.
A front-yard fence over 4 feet requires an over-height fence permit and must remain more than 50% open. Fences over 6 feet also require an over-height fence permit. A proposed fence over 8 feet requires a zoning variance from the Denver Board of Adjustment as well.
Additional restrictions apply to historic properties. Fences in historic districts, at individually designated landmarks, or along designated parkways require a permit regardless of height. Vinyl, PVC, and chain link fencing aren’t allowed in most historic districts or at individual landmarks. Property owners should confirm the requirements for their parcel before finalizing the design.
