I've been meaning to write this for some time as I normally don't do reviews, however, SSF deserves this review. We contacted Lucy & Steve earlier in 2025 about our back fence that had been blown down by strong winds. We asked them for an 8 ft cedar with a 12" rot board, with cap and trim with steel posts planted in raised concrete tubes. They quickly removed the old fence and started installing the new one. It was completed in less than 2 days. It's beautiful and now with the steel posts, it can withstand high winds. The materials used were of excellent quality. The process went so easily and smooth, that we asked them back to install the front yard fence and a very special set of driveway gates. This fence & gates was not going to be an easy job. They designed it and executed the project well. (matching 8 ft cedar, with cap, trim and rot board -31 foot long with 3 gates (8 ft double gate, 12 ft automated bi-fold gate with pickets, and 3 ft walk through with a combo lock). They did an excellent job, I couldn't be more pleased with the look and security that it provides. UPDATE - we had a big storm in early October that damaged the bi-fold gate (It's like a large sail in strong winds). They quickly came back out and surveyed the damage and came up with a plan. Within a couple of days, their metal worker (Charlie) came out and spent all day fixing and strengthening the gate. Charlie was great - very conscience about his work. He didn't quit working on it until he was completely satisfied with the gate operation and the way it worked. Steve stopped later that afternoon and checked out the work. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks Lucy and Steve!
